At midday on Friday 9th April 2021, Her Majesty The Queen announced the passing of her husband, HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Her Majesty The Queen, and the entire Royal Family as the nation mourns the loss of a much loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

A small memorial has been placed in the church for people to look at, alongside a prayer, and people are invited to come and pray and light a candle as they mark their respects. Government Guidelines currently do not permit for a physical Book of Condolence but an online version can be found on the Church of England Website alongside other resources.

We will also be marking this solemn occasion with a half-muffled tenor bell being tolled 99 times at 12noon on Saturday 10 April and a short service of prayer will also take place at 1pm.

On Friday 16 April at 6pm, we will be holding a Service of Commemoration for the life of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.  This service will also be livestreamed on YouTube - The Service sheet can be found here.
