Various chances to learn more about the Christian faith are happening this Autumn at St Peter Mancroft.

On Sundays 19th September, 17th October and 21st November there will be a breakfast in the Octagon between the two morning services. This runs between 8.45am and 9.30am, and in addition to a chance to chat with friends includes a Bible reflection and discussion on the theme of ‘Water; Soil; Air’. For more details see the booklets in church.

On ten Thursday evenings there will be an online Zoom session, using the new ‘Being With’ course created by the HeartEdge Network. This is open to all, but is aimed in particular at those who feel they don’t know much about Christianity, or who are returning to church after a gap. For more details see the cards in church or ask Edward Carter or Fiona Haworth, who will be leading this. For the Zoom login details please email: groups@stpetermancroft.org.uk

For children, there are Godly Play sessions alongside the 10.00am service on the second and fourth Sundays each month (with a break for half term). There is also a new ‘Godly Play on Thursday’ session for pre-school age children, replacing the Noah’s Ark group. This will be in the Octagon on Thursdays in term-time, running between 10.00am and 11.30am. The first session is on 23rd September. For all the dates please see the term card in church or email: godlyplay@stpetermancroft.org.uk

There is a Service of Confirmation on the morning of Saturday 27th November at the Cathedral. Anyone wishing to be confirmed this Autumn should please speak to one of the clergy about preparations for this.
