The Mancroft Drama Group is a group of volunteers, led by members of our congregation, who have a passion for drama and sharing the Good News through drama.

Before the pandemic, the Mancroft Drama Group would occasional contribute to our "Celebrating Together" service once a month with retellings of the Bile Story or Theme for the day.  Now that restrictions have lifted, the group is looking to restart and see how much interest there is.

The Mancroft Drama Group will meet for initially six weeks, on Wednesdays at 7.00pm in The Octagon, starting on Wednesday 8th September. Sessions will be led by Alice Lambert and Rachel Hobson, and during these six weeks will focus on play-reading. The plan is to see how much interest there is, and develop a drama presence at St Peter Mancroft that might make occasional contributions to services, as well as explore other drama possibilities.

Everyone is welcome. Whether you would like to join us in reading some plays, or come along to watch and listen, we’d love to see you. For more information please email drama@stpetermancroft.org.uk or talk to Alice or Rachel after a service in church.
