For Lent 2021, our Vicar Edward Carter has compiled a new Lent Course entitled "Face to Face" which we will be running throughout Lent on Zoom.  Our sessions are open for everyone and will run every Thursday evening at 7:30pm from Thursday 25 February for 5 weeks.  To sign up, please email groups@stpetermancroft.org.uk

About the course, Edward Carter writes: "The past year has been extraordinary and, in many ways, challenging, in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic. The virus has affected different people in different ways: some have become very ill or even died; some have lost their livelihoods; some have struggled with loneliness or isolation. But the past year has brought new blessings as well: the time to reflect, and to appreciate the world around us in a fresh way. And for some there have been new encounters with God."

"This study course, which can be used by a group meeting online, takes the theme ‘Face to Face’, using news stories from 2020 as well as passages from the Bible. The hope is that as we listen and talk together, we will learn more about how we come face to face with the living God, even at a time when meeting physically face to face with other human beings is so difficult."
