A nine-day walk is being planned across Norfolk later this month. It’s part of the build-up to the COP26 conference in Scotland this November, at which the world’s response to climate change will be discussed. Those taking part hope to draw attention to the urgency of this issue.

Day four of the walk, on Tuesday 24th August, leaves from outside St Peter Mancroft at 9.30am. As the walkers gather and then depart for Weston Longville, there will be a prayer said and blessings asked for the way. The Revd Dr Fiona Haworth, Associate Priest at Mancroft, is planning to join the eleven mile walk that day, and others would also be welcome. If anyone can offer a walker a bed for the night on 23rd August, please contact the Vicar as soon as possible.

More information about the nine-day pilgrimage from Great Yarmouth to King's Lynn can be found on the Diocese of Norwich website.
